Rev. Paula A. Maiorano, Executive Director
Rev. Maiorano was ordained in 1996 as a Unitarian Universalist
Minister. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware (B.A.),
Lancaster Theological Seminary (M.Div), and Philadelphia’s Council for
Relationships (Marriage and Family Therapist, MFT). She has served as a
parish and community minister and as a chaplain and therapist.
Prior to seminary, Rev. Maiorano owned and operated My World
Travel, Inc., a mid-size business, and was the organizing leader
bringing Parents As Teachers (PAT) to the state of Delaware. She has
extensive business, personnel, and money management experience.
Rev. Maiorano is the Alternatives to Violence coordinator and community
facilitator/trainer for the Delores Baylor Women’s Correctional
Institution. |

John A. Shuford, Treasurer and
Re-entry Director
John A. Shuford has an MBA and a Specialist Degree in Rehabilitation
Counseling (a degree between a Masters and a Doctorate) and was awarded Fellow
status by the American College of Health Care Administrators. He
is the past Treasurer, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Board of
AVP/USA, Inc., and is currently the Clerk of the International
Committee and Coordinator of AVP/DE. He has been a mental health
therapist, social worker, health care administrator and is currently a
consultant of organizational staff development training. He has
provided trainings in South Africa, Israel, Russia, Chechnya, Bosnia,
Croatia and Serbia. He has led international conflict resolution
delegations to China, South Africa and Russia. Mr. Shuford owns
and operates his own conflict resolution business. |

Haneef Salaam, Trustee
Haneef Salaam has obtained some college at Delaware State University.
As well as completing Carpentry training at Delaware Skills Center,
Professional & Business Skills Training at Professional Staffing,
along with a host of Proposal Writing & Communication workshops. In
the past Haneef has owned and operated CLH Home Renovations a small
business, and was the leading foreman with Parker Contracting.
Haneef is an AmeriCorp Alumnus completing his ten-month service
with Public Allies Delaware. As a Public Ally Haneef was placed at
Goodwill Industries of Delaware and Delaware County. At Goodwill
Haneef’s title was Workforce Development coordinator, and he assisted
youth ages 16 to 24 find gainful employment. Haneef also planned and
coordinated a job fair, weekly meeting sessions with clients and
workshops for Goodwill during his ten months of service. Haneef is a
lifelong resident of Wilmington, and contributes the life experiences
of an ex-offender. Haneef’s experiences along with the many
relationships that he has built with community leaders, clergy, and
activist will prove to be an asset to A Center for Relational Living. |

Gayle R. Reuter,
President
&
Trustee
Rev.
Reuter was ordaned in 1995 as a Religious Science Minister, and is a
graduate of Ernest Holmes College, and accredited Religious Science
Seminary. Rev. Reuter has served Pathways Community Church in
Wilmington, DE as Senior Minister since her ordination. She has
also served as Hospice Chaplain. Her particular areas of
expertise, in addition to parish ministry responsibilities, are
Spriitual Direction, Retreat Leadership and Visioning. Rev.
Reuter facilitated the year-long visioning process for A Center for
Relational Living, which led to board adoption of the Corporation's
vision and mission. |

Tom St. John,
Trustee
A
graduate of the University of Miami, Mr. St. John has been in the
financial planning industry since 1993, and has earned the status of
Certified Senior Advisor. Currently, he is founder and President
of his own business, Phoenix Financial Network. In the Delaware
non-profit community, Mr. St. John founded the Y.M.C.A. of Glasgow, DE,
served as a founding board member, and was the Y.M.C.A. Delaware
Volunteer of the Year in 1997. Mr. St. John has also served on
the boards of directors of the Community Athletic Association and
OperaDelaware. |
